Get answers to common questions about Eyebrows Waxing with Shaping.
A typical session lasts about 15-30 minutes depending on brow thickness and desired shaping. We begin with waxing to remove stray hairs, followed by precision tweezing and trimming to sculpt a clean, balanced brow tailored to your face.
You may feel brief stinging during wax removal, but discomfort is short-lived. We use gentle wax, calming techniques, and post-wax soothing products. Avoid caffeine and alcohol beforehand, and communicate with your technician for additional comfort measures.
Wait at least 4-6 weeks after microblading or until the area is fully healed. Waxing or shaping too soon can disrupt pigment and healing. Always consult your microblading artist and bring aftercare notes to your appointment.
Most clients return every 3–6 weeks depending on hair growth and desired brow fullness. Faster growers may need appointments every three weeks; others can wait longer. We’ll recommend a personalized schedule based on your hair cycle and styling preferences.
Avoid exfoliants, retinoids, and alpha or beta hydroxy acids on the brow area for 48–72 hours before waxing to reduce irritation. Clean, makeup-free skin is best. If you use topical medications, disclose them during booking.
Apply a calm, fragrance-free soothing gel or aloe for 24–48 hours and avoid sun exposure, hot showers, and heavy sweating. Do not pick or tweeze the area. If redness persists or irritation worsens, contact us for a follow-up.
