Contraindications include sunburn, active skin infections, recent chemical peels, Accutane use within six months, and open wounds. Inform your esthetician about medications or skin conditions before booking to ensure safety.

Avoid hot showers, heavy sweating, saunas, and direct sun for 24–48 hours. Use gentle cleansers, fragrance-free moisturizers and apply soothing aloe or a post-wax serum as directed to minimize redness and ingrown hairs.
