Typical sessions last 30 to 60 minutes depending on hair density and coverage area. A full consultation and mapping of areas is done first to ensure comfort and efficient timing.
Some discomfort is expected, especially on first waxing. Our estheticians use soothing techniques, proper tension and breathing guidance to minimize pain. Numbing options can be discussed during booking for highly sensitive clients.
Trim or allow hair to grow to roughly a quarter-inch for best results. Avoid heavy exfoliation, tanning, and retinoids 48 hours before. Clean, dry skin on arrival helps the waxing process and reduces irritation.
Generally every four to eight weeks depending on your hair growth cycle and desired smoothness. With regular waxing, regrowth becomes finer and sessions can sometimes be spaced further apart.
Contraindications include sunburn, active skin infections, recent chemical peels, Accutane use within six months, and open wounds. Inform your esthetician about medications or skin conditions before booking to ensure safety.
Avoid hot showers, heavy sweating, saunas, and direct sun for 24–48 hours. Use gentle cleansers, fragrance-free moisturizers and apply soothing aloe or a post-wax serum as directed to minimize redness and ingrown hairs.
